Peshawar’s Chief Minister, Ali Amin Khan Gandapur, ordered the immediate implementation of the Ehsaas Naujawan Rozgar Program, the Ehsaas Hunar Program, and the Ehsaas Rozgar Program to reduce unemployment in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

A recent meeting was called at the Chief Minister’s House, which was attended by provincial cabinet members and officials. In this meeting, Gandapur reviewed progress on the “Ehsas Apna Ghar Programme”. This programme aims to provide interest-free loans up to Rs1.5 million to low-income individuals running their houses. These loans will help them build their new house, renovations, or buy an apartment, that can enhance the socio-economic conditions of them.

Gandapur emphasized upon equal distribution among the deserving specially keeping in mind the minorities, women, disabled, and the needy. This is to ensure that the funds could be of maximum benefit as it reaches the deserving residents of the province.

Ehsaas Naujawan Programme is in the process of launching. This project offers soft loans up to Rs 3000 million to skilled individuals with feasible business plans, which was previously known as Ehsaas Naujawan Rozgar Scheme will provide 100 % interest-free loans from Rs. 1.0 million to 5.0 million for start-ups and up to 5 lacs for small businesses and for expansion of existing enterprises, supported by the Directorate of Youth Affairs, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. 

Additionally, under the Ehsaas Hunar Program, graduates and technical certificate holders will receive interest-free loans up to Rs 5 million to start businesses, supporting entrepreneurship and economic growth among skilled youth.
