Editorial Policy

Loan and support scheme information affects people’s money, so we hold our guides to a high standard of accuracy.

Our sources

We use official notifications, PC-I documents, government department and bank websites, and reputable national news organisations. Each guide lists its sources in an Official sources box.

Verification and updates

• Every guide shows a Last verified date.
• When a scheme changes, we update the same page and add a dated entry to its Updates log, instead of publishing duplicate posts.
• Proposed or unapproved changes are clearly labelled as Proposed.
• Details we have not yet confirmed are not published as fact.

Independence

We are not paid by any scheme, bank or government department to write about them. Advertising on the site is clearly separated from our content and does not influence it.
